The deadline has come and gone for ordering and payment of tickets for the Leavers’ Formal on Monday, December 3, 2018 at The Wigram Air Force Museum.

Most students notice some anxiety and tension at the thought of sitting exams. Feeling anxious about assessment is normal, and to be expected. A moderate amount of anxiety may not be a bad thing as it can sharpen concentration and performance, helping us to create extra energy and momentum needed to keep us studying (even though we might prefer to be doing something else!) Some students, however, will experience a degree of stress and anxiety that is quite defeating. Their fears can affect them physically, for example, difficulty sleeping, headaches, nausea; or mentally, for example, lack of concentration, irritability, feeling overwhelmed.

The LEF report for term 4 is in the process of being sent. It will also be available on the parent portal from Monday.

School will finish early on Friday, 9th November due to a Paid Union Meeting. There will be no period 4 & 5 and students will leave school for the day at 12.05pm. If it is necessary for your daughter to stay at school during this time, she should go to the Library where she will be supervised in private study by non PPTA teaching staff.

The Riccarton Road railway crossing will be closed from 10pm, Friday, 9th November until 6am Monday, 12th November. Please see the attached notice from Fulton Hogan for further details.

CGHS Start Dates for 2019

Students are be able to make free physiotherapy appointments with Holly McIntosh of Health and Sport Central. Holly is at school from 12.00-2.00pm on Wednesdays.
