The CGHS 1st XI Cricket team travelled to Palmerston North in early December to participate in the Gillette Venus Cup – the National Secondary Schoolgirls Twenty20 Cricket Tournament.

Right at the end of last year 17 of our Economics students entered this competition, with four of them winning prizes.

Grace was named as one of two 'Outstanding Young Female Players of the Year' at the Canterbury Hockey Association awards in late November 2020.

The Junior Chirnside Competition asks students in years 9 and 10 to illustrate a passage of a Shakespeare text that was studied in their English class that year.
