Last Thursday the Music Department produced our ‘Works in Progress’ concert (a little later than normal, owing to this year’s unusual circumstances) to a large, appreciative audience in the PAC.

On Tuesday the 4th of August, the yearly Senior Speech Competition was held. Competitors from Years 11 to 13 performed a variety of speeches on the day before the judges.

On Sunday, 2nd August the CGHS Jazz Band performed at the Ara JazzQuest.

On the 27th of June, 10PKK got to hold a class fashion show of the decades, showcasing the evolution of fashion from the 1920’s to the present day. This was part of a bigger Decade Study unit that involved looking at significant figures, events and places.

The Art Department has made a successful application for a special delivery from the Antarctic Centre of a metre-high ceramic penguin. Why you ask?

The CGHS PTA Secondhand Uniform Shop opens once a month on a Saturday from 12 pm - 1.30 pm. The shop will be open next on Saturday 8th August.
