Here at Christchurch Girls' High School / Te Kura o Hine Waiora we value communication with parents and whānau.

Back by popular demand LipSync 2021 will be taking place on Thursday 24th June, 7 pm at CBHS.

The Canterbury U18 representative hockey teams have been announced. We have a number of players who made both the A and B teams.

CGHS competed over the weekend at Lake Karapiro, in the New Zealand and Oceania Canoe Sprint Nationals.

Over the weekend I did my 27km walk to raise funds for Hagar and their work in Vietnam.

Congratulations to Zoe Sullivan (10NIC) who has had her fabulous poem 'Penguin at Ōwhiro Bay' published in the latest edition of Toi Toi.

The Old Girls' Association AGM was held on the 15th of May 2021. As a result, some changes have been proposed.

On Thursday 13th May, the Music Department had our first Music Concert of the year.

A case of headlice has been reported to the school. Please ensure all students have their hair checked and treated if necessary.

This year our CGHS team, for the very competitive Y9 Reader's Cup, will be Anna Gardiner, Leila Parsons, Samirah Farrelly, Olivia Donaldson and Lily Stott.

On the 3rd of June Christchurch Girls' High School/Te Kura o Hine Waiora will be holding its first ever Junior House Production.
