Year 5 and 6 students had a fantastic day at the 'Rugby Fun Day' held last week at Burnside Park.

Two teams of keen rugby players from Year 5 and 6 participated in the the Rugby Fun Day held by Canterbury last week. A team of committed boys played several games and did themselves proud. 

The girls team, most of whom do not play rugby regularly, had an amazing day. Starting with a tackling clinic which gave them much needed confidence and competing in 3 games. Each game saw them grow in confidence and skill and even a few converts for next season! 

It was very pleasing to see the teamwork, support and great sportsmanship by both teams. Many thanks to the parents who supported on the day.
