CAS CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS 2023

Emma Dawson —

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the CAS Cross Country on Tuesday!

On Tuesday 2nd May students participated in the CAS Cross Country. The weather was amazing and the students ran hard and enjoyed the day! It was great to see a big parent turnout, thank you for supporting the students, I know it means a lot to them to have you watching and cheering them on!

Thank you to Mia Williams, Elena Williams, and Phyllis and Viena Pouanga for volunteering to help out on the track, it was great to have you supporting the event.

Thank you to the staff for your various roles on the day.

Katie Riches and I have finalised the results, please find the Girls and Boys results for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place attached.

Hurunui Cross Country Team: Please view the attached document detailing which students in Years 4-8 will be attending the Hurunui Cross Country - please note, a boy and girl reserve have been listed for each year group, these students will only be required to participate if one of the previous four students in their year group is unable to attend on the day.

Katie will provide further information asap for the Year 4-8 students who will attend the Hurunui Cross Country on Monday 22nd May (postponement Wednesday 24th May).

Matua Toka and Mr Crawford are beginning a Running Club to provide additional training for the students who will attend the Hurunui Cross Country. This will take place on Monday and Thursday lunchtimes around the Cheviot Cricket Domain, permission forms need to be completed for your child/children to participate.

Thank you again to everyone for your support of the CAS Cross Country, I hope you enjoyed it!

More photos to come next week.
