Cheviot Students shine at recent cross country events.
Cheviot students had a successful day at the recent Hurunui Primary Schools Cross Country held in the Waikari Valley. Those that made it into the top six went on to represent Hurunui at the Canterbury Primary and Intermediate Schools Cross Country at Halswall Quarry last week.
We had four top 20 placings at that event - Katie Pain 18th, Jim Dickson 15th, Lily Beaven 12th and Angus Haugh 10th in their events. There were over 180 competitors in these races, so a great effort!
