Angus Haugh once again made it into the Primary Sports Canterbury X-Country Team this year - thats three years in a row! The Team is made up of the top 10 fastest students in each year group (Yr 5-8, male and female) in the whole of Canterbury. He showed his committment by travelling to training in and around Christchurch every week of this term. The effort has paid off as Angus had a fantastic race in the Inter-Regional X-Country race in Hanmer yesterday. He placed 6th in Canterbury and 18th overall in the Year 7 Boys race which is an awesome achievement - Thanks Angus for representing Cheviot Area School and your province so well!
