We have been notified of a confirmed case of Streptococcal sore throat (Strep throat). With a lot of general coughs, colds and sore throats about at the moment it would pay to be extra vigilant for this. There are also some reports of a minor stomach bug. Please keep students away from school for 48hrs after the last vomit/loose motion.

Strep Throat

Strep throat can appear differently in different people. White patches in the throat are a common sign but generally if your child's throat has been sore for more than two days a trip to the Doctor is reccommended. Other early signs are headaches and possible vomiting.
