Year 10 students, Andra Whelan, Makayla Eades, Maria Steen-Taylor, Marco Bolton and Maxim Cave all achieved in the recent common literacy and numeracy tests for NCEA.

A new NCEA requirement for 2024 is that students must achieve literacy and numeracy co-requisites. The students achieve this through sitting an online exam. This year, all year CAS 10 students and some year 9 students had the opportunity to sit these tests in writing, reading and numeracy. All our year 10 students achieved all or some of these pre-requisites before year 11. There were also very pleasing results for our year 9 students.
