The Cheviot Area School Board is pleased to introduce you to our newest board member Marcel van Reenen.

The Cheviot Area School Board is pleased to introduce you to our newest board member. The Board has co-opted Marcel van Reenen in order to bolster our finance capabilities. Marcel was a rural banker with BNZ and Rabobank for 12 years. Instead of counting money he is now trying to count sheep. He served on the Dovedale school board for 2 years, heading up the finance portfolio. He is married to Mel and they have three children attending our school. In his spare time, Marcel is also a beekeeping enthusiast, keen multi-sport athlete and loves fishing and hunting. We are very excited to add his extensive skill set to our board. 

If you think you may have some skills to offer our board we will have positions going up for election in September 2022.
