Highly commended maths students!

Last month 9 keen Year 6 students participated in the Canterbury region Cantamath poster competition. Of the 9 entries we received 6 high commended, of which we are very proud. 

Students had to independently research and plan a holiday at home on a restricted budget. They were to price activities and holiday plans for their family and record this in a poster. 

Congratulations to Lucy Sidey, Maggie Jamison, Conrad van Reenen, Harry Dampier Crossley, Jemma Hanna, Charlotte Budge, Kim Maddison, Holly Eades, Axel Morgan for all your hard work.  

Cantamath is a great opportunity for our students to participate in a regional competition and next year we hope to be able to send a team along.
