I am excited to be joining the teaching team at Cheviot Area School at the start of term 2 as the classroom teacher of the Year 7 class. I am also a Secondary trained history and drama teacher and look forward to future opportunities to support senior students in these subjects. 

I have a great passion for travel and culture, and I have spent time living in the United Kingdom where I taught in London. I also have a great love of the outdoors; hiking and kayaking being great pastimes of mine.

In teaching, I enjoy working alongside tamariki of all ages and evoking integrity, inquisitiveness, and creativity. I have a great interest in implementing cultural studies, Te reo language, and the arts in my classroom. I am very excited to start at Cheviot Area School and be working alongside your tamariki, and supporting them in their learning journey.
