Cheviot Area School enjoyed success at the recent tournament in Christchurch.

We had five students represent our school at the recent national tournament: Shannon Fitzgibbon (ki-o-rahi), Katelyn Ellis (netball), Paige McNabb (netball), Teb Knight (basketball) and Bohan Rogers (rugby). The students enjoyed a wonderful week of competition and meeting students from area schools across the country.  All five of our students were selected to represent the South Island in their sports and , in addition, Teb Knight was selected for the New Zealand basketball team and Bohan Rogers was selected for the New Zealand rugby team. Well done to all.
