Canterbury Duathlon - Monday 30th August.
The Canterbury Duathlon is held at Ruapuna Raceway Christchurch for Yr 5-8 students.
Year 5/6 Run 2km, bike 6km, run 1km
Year 7/8 Run 2km, bike 9km, run 1km
Entries for this event is limited to x4 students per year group, if we have more than this wanting to enter we will go on times from our schools cross country and enter x2 girls x2 boys.

7 A'Side Tournament Hurunui College Tuesday 31st August (pp Thurs 2nd Sept)
The Annual Hurunui 7 Aside tournament held at Hurunui college Hawarden is a fun day out for our Yr 4-8 students (all students are expected to participate), playing Football, Netball and Touch Rugby.
The AIMS of the day:
*To allow children to experience sports they may not necessarily have played before.
*To let children play sports alongside children from other schools
*To promote the playing of sport for the enjoyment of the activity rather than the results of the game.
Please check your children's bag for hard copies of the attached notices coming home today. These need to be returned by Friday 13th August.
