Cheviot Area School Year 10 students far exceed national achievement rates in literacy and numeracy tests.

Statistics recently released by NZQA show that Cheviot Area School students achieved well above the national average in numeracy and literacy in the new NCEA co-requisites.
Cheviot Area School had a 100% pass rate for writing (national average 56%) and an 80% pass rate for reading (national average 64%). We also had an amazing pass rate of 71% for numeracy (national average 55%) for the cohort who sat this common test.
This is a fantastic result by our students!
