On Wednesday (6 September), the marimba, recorder, and ukulele groups spent the day at Wolfbrook Arena preparing for Strum Strike Blow, a Canterbury-wide performance where the said groups from each school come together to play some songs and have fun. We rehearsed all day and made sure everything was running smoothly. The performance itself was in the evening, and there were loads of people watching. I was in the marimba group, but I played violin to accompany the ukuleles and recorders for a couple songs that had fiddle parts. It was pretty nerve-wracking, but the performance went well and was overall a great experience.
