Fundraiser - Westgold Butter

Kim Goggin —

Kia ora Parents and Caregivers

As part of our plan to raise funds for the upcoming trips and sporting events this year (AIMS games, Rarotonga, Samoa and China) we are now running a butter fundraiser. Westgold butter is a deliciously rich and creamy butter made right here in NZ on the West Coast. It’s perfect simply on toast and used in cooking and baking. Selling for $5.15 per block, the 250g Westgold Salted and Unsalted butter blocks are great value and $1 from each block sold will go to Chisnallwood Intermediate School.

Since the natural goodness of Westgold needs to be kept chilled, this fundraiser needs to be treated a little differently. We’ll need you to collect butter orders and payments, submit your order form and payment to school, and then distribute the butter to those who have ordered.

Our Butter Fundraiser will close on Tuesday 15 July 2025. Please make sure you mark this in your calendar and return your order form and money collected before then. Order forms need to be emailed to rjackman@chisnallwood.school.nz or dropped into the school office. Please deposit payment into the school bank account: Chisnallwood Intermediate School BOT 12-3147-0202890-00 using your students name and Westgold as a reference.

Make sure you take a copy or photo of your order form to make sure you can remember each order when it comes to distributing the butter you have sold. The butter orders will be able to be collected from the school on Wednesday 23rd July 2025 (The first day of parent student learning conferences).

It’s really important you pick up the butter you have sold on the day and distribute it to those you sold it to. If you can’t distribute all your orders on this day, you’ll need to store the butter in the fridge until you can. So please keep this in mind when collecting your order too.

Please see attached your order form to record orders or you can collect a form from the school office.

Thank you for your support.
