This communication is to inform you of our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) agreement, Device Purchase Options, and other related IT matters.

A chromebook is the only device we accept at Chisnallwood. A laptop is unable to
be managed within our management system.

As of the start of this year, the IT company that we have contracted to work with us is Cyclone Computers. Cyclone provides an IT engineer who works onsite weekly. Chromebook Purchase options: For the benefit of our new families and existing families who wish to purchase new Chromebooks, Cyclone Computers offers opportunities for families to purchase our recommended Chromebook models through their company. The benefit of purchasing directly through Cyclone is your child’s Chromebook will be set up, enrolled, and managed to work within our school system at the time of pick up. The device will be ready for use from Day 1 of the new school year. In previous years, due to the sheer volume of devices that needed to be set up, it has taken up to 3 to 4 weeks to enroll all the new students' Chromebooks into our management system.
