Canterbury Primary Schools Athletics Championship
On Wednesday 2 December, 18 Christ The King students competed in the Canterbury Primary Schools Athletics Championship held at Ngā Puna Wai.
There were 191 schools competing and over 1800 athletes in attendance.
After many weeks of training all students competed with pride and supported each other energetically.

A massive thanks must go to Carmen Cunningham for all the hours spent on shotput and discus training, it was evident that the training contributed to the successes. Also thanks to Kieran Ford for his help with long distance training, Catherine Abbott with her training of the sprint and relay teams and Monica Whitham for her help with the long jump.
Thanks to Justine Coltman for keeping our teams looking great in their sport uniforms.
