Washpen Falls - EOTC Trip

Macy Bennett —

Our trip to Washpen Falls was an exciting day to remember.

It was filled with fun, laughs and breathtaking scenery. Many people enjoyed the experience, even though it was a little chilly. The walk took us through the bush, mountains and the falls. We looked out over the Canterbury Plains, but stayed far away from the cliff, as the wind was extremely strong. We had lunch overlooking a lake, listening to the birdsong. We learnt about plants, different species of birds and the history behind Washpen Falls. Overall it was an especially fun day walking the Washpen Falls track. Everyone should be truly inspired by the beautiful scenery of Washpen Falls when we do our class writing.

Thank you to all parents who gave up their day to help us on our trip.
