South Islands Water Polo Champions 2017

On Friday 27 October to Sunday 29 October our CTK A Water Polo team competed in the South Island competition in Dunedin. 

After the success of the weekend before, the children were ready to give it their all and come away with another win. There were some heart stopping moments, however the CTK team won all their Round Robin games, and went to win in the final versing St Marks 5-2.  Once again, CTK are the B grade South Islands' Tournament winners. 

Congratulations to the team, and to Conor Crosbie and Maisy Perriam on being the Most Valuable Male and Female players of the B Grade for the tournament.

NW Zone Athletics 

Congratulations to the 72 children who have qualified for the NW Zone Athletics on Monday 13 November. We wish the CTK team all the best!

Inter Regional Cross Country 2017

A special congratulations goes to Helena Scanlan who competed in the Inter-Regional Cross Country Event on the 28 September. Helena competed in the Year 5 2000m race against girls from Wellington, Nelson, Marlborough and South Canterbury. Helena placed 11th  overall, a fantastic achievement. As she was one of the top 4 Canterbury runners Helena received a silver medal as the Canterbury  team placed 2nd. A picture of Helena is attached below.
