On Wednesday 27 June, 20 Christ the King students competed in the Central Cross Country held at Halswell Quarry.

With large fields and very muddy conditions racing was very exciting.

After many weeks of training in the cold and dark, all students competed with pride and supported each other energetically.

Macy Bennett and Alessandro Cvasniuc will compete at the Primary Vs Intermediate Race on Wednesday 4 July for their chance to make the Canterbury Team.

A big thanks to all the parents who provided transport and a special mention to Annita Corcoran, Nicki Bennett and Vanessa Kane for marshaling on the day. Thanks also to Kieran Ford for helping with the training sessions.
