Saturday 24 February 2019 - Road Closures.

The Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon will be held on Sunday 24 February at Jellie Park, Greers Road. There will be an event held in the morning with approximately 2000 children participating & another in the afternoon with approximately 1800 children participating. We understand that an event of this scale can cause inconvenience & we appreciate your support

Attached is the resident letter which outlines the road closures that have been confirmed by Traffic Management NZ & Christchurch City Council

In summary -

· One-way system in operation:

o Clyde Rd (south-bound lane open)

o Aorangi Rd between Ilam Rd and Brookside Tce (east-bound lane open)

o Detours will be in place and clearly signposted for vehicles that need to travel in the opposite direction

o Affected bus stops will be relocated and clearly signposted

 No Parking on Greers Road (Jellie Park side) from Brookside Terrace to Cottesmore Close.

 Parking restrictions on sections of Chateau Dr, Ilam Rd, and Brookside Tce (Jellie Park side)
