Christ the King were very lucky to enter two teams in the Canterbury Primary Schools Hip Hop Competition, which was held on the 5 September, at Hornby High School.

We were represented by a Middle Year 5/6 Team and a Senior Year 7/8 Team. Both teams had been working extremely hard to learn a Hip Hop routine in only 8 weeks! They had to focus on movement, formation, timing and expression. We were very lucky to have the dedicated expertise of Sheena Ioane, who also managed the Senior Year 7/8 Team. The children had a great day at the competition, and enjoyed the chance to perform their routines. Our Senior Team came in 6th place and our Middle Team 2nd place. Overall, great results! Well done to all of you!
