On Monday the 27 of November, the Senior Syndicate went to Burnside High to learn about science. This has been the topic for the term. Burnside High School very kindly offered to host all three senior classes in their science labs. The staff at Burnside were extremely helpful and talented and demonstrated a range of experiments while explaining the science concepts behind each experiment. Then it was the children’s turn to carry out two experiments. We used lots of science equipment such as bunsen burners, thermometers, reacting chemicals and test tubes. Overall it was an exciting trip and offered the children a great opportunity to get excited by science.
