Olivia Gill —

The Weet- Bix TRYathlon was a successful day spent at Jellie Park, with 46 Christ the King Students competing. Congratulations to all the children.

FRIDAY WINTER SPORT

Starting in Term 2 children in Years 5-8 begin playing Winter Sport. In order for teams to be entered into the competition this year we need parent helpers, referees/umpires and coaches. If you are able to lend a hand in any way, either for lunchtime training's, or Friday afternoon games please let Olivia Gill know as soon as possible. If we don’t get enough parents helpers this year, we will not be entering all teams. This will mean some children will miss out on playing Friday Winter Sport.

SPORT TROPHIES

If you have a Sport Trophy at home please return this to the school office as soon as possible. We are unable to hand out this year's trophies until all of last year's are returned.

SPORTS GEAR/UNIFORMS

If you have any of last year's school tracksuits, singlets, sports uniforms lying around at home, please return these as soon as possible to the school office.

NORTH WEST ZONE SWIMMING

Yesterday was the North West Zone Swimming Zones. CTK had 31 students competing in different swimming events. It was a successful day all round with many of our students making Canterbury Centrals in a few weeks. Congratulations to all the students who represented our school. Your behaviour was fantastic, and you all showed great determination in the pool. Refer to the photos below for all the action.
