Digital technology is part of our daily lives and Digital Literacy is becoming a vital skill for our students. Below you will find information about Chromebooks for 2024.
Current Year Level Year 3 2023 (Year 4 2024) Families can choose to purchase a Chromebook or use a school Chromebook.
Years 5-7 2023 (Years 5-8 2024)
Families to purchase a Chromebook
School Chromebooks can be used during school hours however they cannot go home with the child.
There are many stores that have sales of Chromebooks and therefore you may wish to keep an eye out for deals. Attached is a flyer from ‘Cyclone’ who offer a very competitive bundle price for a
Chromebook.
For the Chromebook to be used at school we require it to have a Chrome Management Console. This is not included in the bundle and needs to be administered through school. There will be no admin fee for 2024.
This web-based Management Console makes it easy to deploy and control users, devices, and apps across a fleet of Chromebooks. The Management Console also allows us to set network and proxy settings to make it easy for users to get up and running and ensure they are protected by web filters and firewalls.
