ICAS Assessments 2025

Patrick Shea —

We are thrilled to announce that our school will once again be providing the ICAS assessments this academic year.

These assessments aim to enhance students' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities across various subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, Spelling, Digital Technologies, and Writing.

ICAS Assessments

The International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) is an independent, quality skills-based assessment program which rewards and recognises achievement. ICAS, developed by Educational Assessment Australia (EAA) since 1981, gives you a broad insight into your child’s performance across a range of curriculum areas.

The assessments are suitable for students wishing to extend themselves academically and take up the personal challenge of completing a formal assessment. Your child will be presented with high-quality, expert-developed questions, allowing them to apply their learning without the need for prior study or revision.

ICAS assessments have been online for the past few years, a move that reflects a sector-wide transition to computer-based assessments. This allows greater accessibility for students and faster delivery of results.

To enrol your Year 4 - 8 child in ICAS, please go to the ICAS Parent Page and use our CTK school access code to enrol and pay.
