Solidarity Day Prayer Service

Wednesday 15 March, 10am in the School Hall

The Catholic social teaching principle of Solidarity is about recognising others as our brothers and sisters, and actively working for their good.

In our connected humanity, we are invited to build relationships - whakawhanaunatanga - to understand what life is like for others who are different from us.

We will have a prayer service on Wednesday 15 March at 10am in the school hall to recognise those who are less fortunate than ourselves.

At the conclusion of the prayer service, the children will go back to their classes and receive a plain biscuit to acknowledge those who are without. This plain biscuit is to replace the child's normal morning tea.

Parents and grandparents are most welcome to join us in this prayer celebration.
