Catholic Winter Tournament 

Well done to all the children who competed at the Catholic Winter Tournament on Thursday 11 May. We experienced 4 seasons in 1 day, played with determination and spirit, and enjoyed playing against other Catholic Schools. Thank you to all the parents and teachers who helped on the day. 

NW Zone Cross Country

Yesterday at Jellie Park 47 children represented Christ the King at the North West Zone Cross Country. What a great day! With the hard training put in from all the children, Mr McInnes, Catherine Bartlett and Mr Ford we were definitely prepared. A special congratulations to the 23 children who will move on to represent our School and Zone at the Canterbury Centrals in June, and a huge thank you to Mr McInnes, Catherine Bartlett and Mr Ford for all their hard work. 

Year 7/8 Basketball Team

Well done to our Year 7/8 Basketball team who competed in the NW Zone tournament on Tuesday 9 May. The boys were up against some hard competition, placing 4th overall. Well done boys!

Winter Sport

Winter Sport began last week. Please make sure your child has the appropriate sporting gear (listed below) needed to play their Winter Sport.

Football 

Shin Pads and School Sport Socks. 

Rugby

Mouthguard, School Sport Socks and Rugby Boots.

Hockey

Shin Pads, School Sport Socks, Mouthguard and Hockey Stick.

Netball 

Suitable track/court shoes for playing on courts.

No Jewellery to to be worn for Netball. 

Basketball

Suitable court shoes for playing and Mouthguard.
