Kapa Haka by Abraham Atherton

Kapa Haka Group visits Rabbit Patch

On June 9, members of the Kapa Haka group performed for the Rabbit Patch Preschool.

The students performed 5 waiata for the children, aged 3 and 4 years old.

The Kapa Haka group practices at a Wednesday lunch time each week and is open to all students in the school. The group performs at our Mihi Whakatau (welcome), and is also looking at other opportunities to perform this year. The students are learning new waiata and himene regularly.

A special thank you to Mr Ryan McInnes, Mr Abraham Atherton and Mrs Shireen Myers for their assistance and dedication to the Kapa Haka group.
