Woolston Brass (A Grade) with Music Director Tyme Marsters and Woolston Concert Brass (C Grade) with Music Director Nick Johnson are striving for musical excellence and top places in their respective grades at the upcoming New Zealand Brass Band Championships being held in Wellington mid-April.
Seriously Brass 2017 on Friday 14 April, 4pm-6pm at The Charles Luney Auditorium will feature the two bands’ virtuosic contest repertoire and showcase top local brass players and percussionists, plus a guest performance from the Woolston Junior Band.
