At the Parent Council AGM on Monday, I was elected as the new Chairperson for this year. For those of you who don’t know me, my children at CTK are Elizabeth in Room 12, Nicholas in Room 10 and Bridget in Room 7. I am the person running around at the sausage sizzles!

Greg McNeill is our new Vice chair and Mel Raisin is the new secretary. All of us are relatively new to the Parent Council so we are really keen to get some new ideas and enthusiasm. If anyone has any suggestions for us, please let us know!

We of course would love new members (it was great to have some new faces at our meeting on Monday.) If you are even slightly interested please come along to our next meeting on Monday 20 March at 7.30pm in the staff room. This will be a planning meeting (refreshments provided!) so even if you don’t want to join the PC but have some ideas of what we should do this year please come along. I promise you won’t be landed with a job (unless you want one!)

We also have a Friends of the Parent Council to cater for those who can’t make meetings but would still be happy to be contacted as the need arises to see if you can help with fundraisers or social events or even just give us some ideas!
