UC’s Bridging Summer Programme lets you study a for-credit course that you can count towards your UC degree.

Why study over Summer?

Year 13 school leavers who can’t go home for the Summer can start their university life sooner than everyone else. 

Study one academic course, plus a study skills course in a supportive and nurturing Summer School programme. 

Enjoy some fun local activities to help you get to know your classmates and develop your leadership skills. 

When you enrol in University in February, you will get credit for the course that you have studied, so you will get a head-start on everyone else!

Summer study gives you the opportunity to

· Get ahead with your UC degree 
· Credit 15 points of a required course to your UC degree
· Improve your academic skills
· Live on campus at University Halls of Residence or Homestay
· Make friends and connect with like-minded students
· Experience a Kiwi summer of South Island adventure

Programme Cost ONLY $4750

Price includes tuition fee and full support through tutorials/workshops and activities.
Accommodation is available at the University Halls or Homestay.
