Avonside Girls' High School

Stefi Porter —

Avonside Girls’ High School is a state school for girls that caters for the academic and social needs of all its students and they are challenged to achieve personal excellence in all they undertake.

We are excited to be moving to our new school, alongside Shirley Boys’ School, in Term 2 2019. Each school will have its own learning and outdoor spaces so we will continue to offer all the benefits of a single sex education but being beside each other means we will have; bigger and better facilities, a wider curriculum for senior students, opportunities for our students to learn and develop alongside each other outside of learning times and access to the new QE2 Sport and Recreation facilities. The campus, at Orua Paeroa, will be serviced by a large network of buses and will feature the very best in facilities, cutting-edge technology and enable us to offer our girls even more.
