We offer academic and general English language courses, including high school preparation. We deliver ‘English Plus Farming’ and ‘English Plus Aviation’ and ‘English plus Business & IT’ on behalf of our main partner institutions. We also run TESOL PD.
Alpha courses are taught by experienced, highly-skilled teachers with both tertiary and internationally-recognised TESOL qualifications. CCEL is located on the University of Canterbury (UC) campus and provides preparatory English classes for students wanting to study at UC and UCIC. CCEL students also enjoy access to the UC facilities. Students who enrol for a course of 14 weeks or longer at CCEL Christchurch can work part-time while they study.
