Welcome to Term 4 everyone!  It's been great seeing our staff and students return to school this week refreshed and ready to embark on another 10 weeks of school.  Typically, Term 4 is a very busy one with many events such as camps, sports events, class trips, photos, end of year picnics and celebration assemblies.  Take note of the calendar of events as there is a lot coming up.  Also, just a friendly reminder that we have a Teacher Only Day scheduled for Monday 16 November, which is the Monday following Show Weekend.  School will be closed that day, so please make sure to mark it in your diary.

Our current Strategic Plan is due for review which means it's time to think about what our future priorities should be for the next 3-4 years.  This is always an informative and exciting time; to reflect on what we have achieved as a school over recent years, to check where we are currently at and to set a new future path that leads to higher student engagement and achievement.  We want to provide the best possible education for our students.  We want to have a school that has a strong sense of belonging, a school that is safe for everyone and a school that is fully inclusive.  To help us with identifying what our strategic goals should be, we would welcome your input.

You will see a separate article in today's newsletter written by Ngaire Shepherd-Wills from our Board of Trustees. We have planned a range of opportunities to consult and engage with our parent community and Ngaire has detailed these clearly in her article.  We encourage you to let us know what your aspirations are for your child by engaging in this consultation process.

Enjoy the rest of your week and have a relaxing weekend.
