Tēnā koutou whānau

Dion Stechmann —

It's been a wonderful first two weeks for me at Clearview - Te Kura o Mārama. I have really enjoyed walking through the classrooms and playground and meeting all our fantastic, polite and welcoming akonga (learners) and kaimahi (staff). I truly value making genuine connections with others and developing strong relationships for learning and growth to prosper. I feel very welcomed by the Clearview team and whanau, and look forward to further developing the relationships and connections already made in my first two weeks.

My whānau and I live in Ōtautahi and enjoy being near the Port Hills and beaches, as we are eager outdoor enthusiasts. During the winter months you may also find us at Mt Hutt enjoying a day of skiing and snow boarding. My beautiful whānau consists of my wife Fiona, son Lachlan and daughter Sophia.

Please say kia ora (hi) to me if you see me around the school as I look forward to meeting you all. I will try my best to remember your names, and do keep reminding me when you see me!

Mā te wā (bye for now, see you later)
