Members of the NZEI Teacher Union are currently voting to take further industrial action.
Voting closes this evening (Thursday) and if teachers vote to strike, this will cause disruption to our school operation that day. The proposed strike day for all Canterbury Primary Schools will be on Wednesday 14 November.
If members vote "Yes" to strike, our BOT will need to consider if it will be safe and practical enough to remain open for instruction that day.
Please make a note of this date. Once we hear more information, we will advise all parents as soon as possible.
