The Selwyn District Council are currently consulting on speed limits around our district's schools, both rural and urban.

 They are proposing permanent 40km/hr speed restrictions along urban school frontages and active 40 km/hr for schools in 80-100km areas. 

Members of the public are encouraged to read the SDC's recommendations and to let themknow your thoughts about these proposed changes.
