On Wednesday we took our top runners back to Halswell Quarry to compete in the Canterbury Cross Country event. The weather turned on excellent conditions for running albeit fresh!

Our students were competing against schools from a very wide area including Hanmer and the West Coast.

Mrs Morriss and Mrs Molloy were super proud of our team, who showed incredible sportsmanship and displayed our Clearview Values throughout the event.

Well done to all our participants who ran their wee hearts out! There were up to 186 people in each race so the calibre was ridiculously high. The results can be found on the Sport Canterbury website. A special congratulations goes to Ciaran Harris who placed 8th in the Year 6 boys. An outstanding achievement.
