Student Ambassadors 2019

On a rather chilly Saturday night, the Student Ambassadors gathered at the Cancer Society's Selwyn Relay for Life to show their support.  Our ambassadors helped to set up the area for the candle light ceremony to celebrate cancer survivors and carers and remember loved ones lost to cancer.  

Mackenzie Wills was given the honour of lighting a special candle before the lap of silence in memory of love ones.

The students did a fantastic job assisting families with the displaying of their candle bags and encouraging the relay teams on during the event.  This was a fantastic opportunity for the students to give back to the community and support important local events.
