Meet Jason Holland: Board of Trustees

Ngaire Shepherd-Wills —

Jason is in his second term on the Clearview Board of Trustees. He holds the Finance portfolio and leads traffic management planning.

Jason lives in Rolleston with his wife Nadia and their four children. He currently works for Environment Canterbury in the field of resource management.

Jason is the board representative on the finance committee which also has principal Rob Rush and Executive Officer Angela Chaplin as part of the team. The board has an annual budget that sets out how it will spend its income (mainly grants from the Ministry of Education) to run all aspects of the school. The sub-committee meets prior to every board meeting and is responsible for keeping the board informed about income and expenditure. It also makes financial recommendations to the board, including the annual budget for the coming year.

Jason also worked extensively on the Clearview Traffic Management Plan which saw our new car parking design and systems introduced at the beginning of the year. This has made a real difference to safety for all our children.
