Please ensure you contact the office if your child is absent. The best way to do this is to use the Hero App or ring (347-7025) and leave a message with the reason.

It is a Ministry of Education requirement that we keep a record of all students attendance and absences.  

If your child has vomiting or diarrhoea, it is imperative that you keep them away from school until 48 hours after the last symptoms have disappeared (this is a MOE requirement), even if they appear quite well.

If we do not hear from you or have an explanation, we are obliged to mark your child as truant.
