‘One Mother to Another’ has just released its inaugural cookbook full of favourite recipes from celebrity chefs, well-known Kiwis and local mums in a spectacularly visual and unique way.

Household names including Nigella Lawson and Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern have joined a number of celebrities in donating their favourite recipes to a fundraising cookbook to help a Christchurch-based charity.

The cookbook will help fund the charity which supports mums and carers in hospital with their sick children.

It’s full of family friendly, kid friendly and also special meals for when you need to impress. Not only will it tickle the taste buds but it shares One Mother to Another’s story and the many experiences of those who’ve been supported by One Mother to Another.

“One Mother to Another EATS" collates favourite recipes from parents, hospital staff, chefs and celebrities and is also full of stories from brave mums who have been open enough to share about their time in hospital with their child. At the heart of this book is a community of mums and carers who understand the heartache of being in hospital with their child, and are cheering on others in similar situations” says Christina Buckland.

Recipes have also been generously donated from celebrities including Nigella Lawson, Annabel Langbein, Peter Gordon, Hilary Barry, Toni Street, Jaquie Brown (to name a few) as well as mothers who’ve received our gift bags, hospital staff who’ve given them out, and some of the businesses who have generously supported the charity.

The cookbook has been endorsed, and the forward written by celebrity chef Jax Hamilton who says “to understand support is available, especially from a stranger, is faith in humanity indeed. This incredible book, curated by these two selfless angels, is all about life, love and the gift of food. ”

It also has the full support of many household names including the Prime Minister – herself a new mother.
