Student Ambassadors 2019

Our 2019 Student Ambassadors are continuing our current partnership with the Selwyn Cancer Society and will be involved in the "Relay for Life" this weekend.  The "Relay for Life" is an inspirational and fun event for everyone of all fitness levels, during which we celebrate with survivors, remember loved one lost to cancer and come together as a community to fight back against cancer.  This event is taking place on Saturday 16 March at  Brookside Park from 10 am till 10 pm.  Further details can be found on the website link: http://selwyn.relayforlife.org.nz/event/relayforlifeselwyn2019

The students managed to raise approximately $550.00 from our recent Fruju Friday sales to donate to this event.  Thank you to everyone who purchased a fruju!

The Student Ambassadors will be assisting with the candle light ceremony which is schedule to take place at 8 pm. They will be helping Jackie and Amanda from 6.30 pm onwards at the Health Promotions tent.  If you are out and about, feel free to pop down and show your support for our students and this awesome event!
