"Five to Nine" - Clearview Cafe

Five to Nine Cafe —

Opening Soon

A few weeks ago we let you know that plans were underway for a school cafe.   During term four an awesome team have been working hard behind the scenes to turn those plans into reality and work began this week to adapt part of our school hall kitchen to accommodate the new enterprise.

The cafe's name "Five to Nine" references the moment when school begins but will operate between 8am and 10am so you'll be able to grab a coffee on the run or pause awhile and catch your breath!

Over the next few weeks some minor work will be carried out to make necessary changes to the kitchen, adjacent room and the outdoor space immediately in front of the cafe.

We'd like to extend a special thanks to the people from our school community who have generously donated their time and expertise to help get this project off the ground:

  •  Justin Norrell from 'Norrell Building',
  • Ken Toohey from 'Ken Toohey Plumbing',
  • Devon Roycroft from 'Rock and Block Works',
  • Reinhardt van Zyl from 'Holmes',
  • David Lewes,
  • Mark Silvey from KIWIeftpos
  • Carl van Voorst from 'Corys Electrical' and
  • Susan and Mark Davis from 'Woodshack Kitchens'.

We look forward to serving you a great coffee and a range of other drinks from the beginning of Term One 2018.
