On Thursday 17th and Friday 18th of October Clearview primary had their Athletics Day. All the students that participated took part in 6 different events.  These events were:

• High jump
  
• Long jump
  
• Long-distance running
  
• Shot put
  
• Sprints
  
• Discus
  

All of the students tried their hardest but only a group of them got through to zones. We were proud to see so many of our students go through to represent our school at the zones.

We interviewed some of our Quest team students who did represent Clearview at the zones and discussed their aspirations for the Centrals and beyond!

Jarrod Harris

• 2nd in long-distance running
  
• Goal: To make it into Canterbury’s and come home in the top 3

• Year 6
  
• 2nd long-distance running
• Goal: To get into top 5 in the zone event and make it through to the centrals
  

Griffin Roycroft

• Year 5
  
• 3rd in long-distance running
  
• Goal: To go to centrals and have fun along the way
