Mathletics and Reading Eggs - tools to support student learning
Our students and teachers are excited to be using Reading Eggs, Reading Eggspress and Mathletics as adaptive, online tools to support curriculum delivery at Clearview Primary.
This year the Clearview Primary Board of Trustees has funded the use of Mathletics and Reading Eggs for all of our students as they can see the benefits of these programmes. These can be accessed from anywhere at any time, and our teachers encourage your child to use these programmes at home.
Reading Eggs caters for children reading up to 7 years old, and Reading Eggspress from 7-13 years. They provide online stories, literacy games, songs, comprehension activities, spelling activities, and writing links which engage and motivate our readers and complement the HB programme.
Mathletics is used by our Explore, Spark, Quest and Challenge teams to support the maths programme being taught. Teachers set engaging and adaptive activities based on what the children are learning in their teaching groups, and these are tailored to student needs. There is also a competitive nature, with Live Mathletics where children can challenge others to develop their speed and accuracy.
If you would like to register for the mathletics parent console where you can track your child's progress and keep up to date with what they are doing, activate your free parent account at http://www.3plearning.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Guide-Welcome-to-the-Family.pdf
Thank you so much to the BOT for supporting the use of these programmes to support and enhance student learning.
